Projects
A project is a group of related workflows, by team, process or app. Every workflow belongs to one project, and every project belongs to your organization, not to the member who created it. Any member can create, change and delete projects.
Create a project
Section titled “Create a project”- Open the Projects page.
- Press New project.
- Enter a Name, up to 100 characters, and optionally a Description, up to 500.
- Press Create. The project’s page opens.
Your plan caps how many projects your organization has at one time:
| Plan | Projects |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 |
| Pro | 100 |
Creating a project past the cap is refused. Delete one or upgrade on the Billing page. See Plans.
The project page
Section titled “The project page”The project page lists its workflows with their status and when each last changed. Select a row to open the workflow in the builder.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | Never published. Only Run draft in the builder runs it. |
| Live · v3 | Version 3 is published and its triggers listen. |
| Paused · v3 | Version 3 is published, but its schedule and app event triggers are turned off. |
See Versions and publishing for how a draft becomes a version, and Triggers for pausing.
Start a workflow
Section titled “Start a workflow”- On the project page, press New workflow.
- Enter a Name.
- Under Start from, pick a template or Blank canvas. The list opens on the first template, AI debate, so pick Blank canvas if you want an empty one.
- Press Create. The builder opens on the new workflow’s draft.
A template fills the canvas with a working example and puts a sample trigger payload in the builder’s Test tab. Some templates need an agent picked or an app connected before they run. See Workflow templates.
Rename a project
Section titled “Rename a project”Below the workflow list, Project settings holds the project’s Name and Description. Change them and press Save changes.
Delete a project
Section titled “Delete a project”- In Project settings, press Delete.
- Confirm with Delete project.
This deletes the project, every workflow in it and their run history. It can’t be undone. The deleted workflows’ triggers stop listening.
Delete one workflow
Section titled “Delete one workflow”The app has no button that deletes a single workflow. To turn off its schedule and app event
triggers, pause it in the builder. To delete it, call DELETE /api/v1/workflows/{id} with an
organization key. See the API reference and
API keys.
