HubSpot
Connect HubSpot when a workflow or an agent should work in your CRM: look up a contact before a reply, log an activity after a call, move a deal along, or start a run when a new contact arrives.
Who can connect it
Section titled “Who can connect it”An owner or admin connects HubSpot once for the whole organization. A member asks one of them. Every workflow and agent then acts as that HubSpot user in that HubSpot account. See Connecting apps.
Connect HubSpot
Section titled “Connect HubSpot”- Open the Apps page.
- Press Connect an app.
- Choose HubSpot in the Super Connect window.
- Sign in to HubSpot, choose the account to connect if you have several, and approve the access it asks for.
- Finish when the window reaches Done.
On the Apps page, the Workspace column shows the HubSpot portal. Open the row to see the account type, data hosting region, currency, time zone and scopes.
What you get
Section titled “What you get”A HubSpot connection brings actions and events. Actions search, read, create and update CRM records and their associations, log and search activities, and look up owners, pipelines and properties. Events start a run when a contact is created, when a contact property changes, or when a deal property changes. The live list of both is in the builder: the Action node’s picker for actions, and the Event list of an App event trigger for events. An agent uses only the actions you grant it. Action steps never offer a destructive action; an agent can be granted one, and it always waits for a member’s approval.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- To give an agent CRM access, add the HubSpot connection under Add a connection in the agent editor and tick the actions it may call. Writes can be set to ask first. See Grants and approvals.
- Each live event trigger counts as an active app subscription. Triggers with the same connection, event and filter share one. See Allowances.
Reauthorize HubSpot
Section titled “Reauthorize HubSpot”When the connection’s health reads failing or needs reauthorization, an owner or admin opens the Apps page, presses … on its row, then Reauthorize, and signs in to HubSpot again. The connection stays the same, so workflows, triggers and agent grants need no change. See Reauthorize a connection.
