Google Search Console
Connect Google Search Console when a workflow or an agent should report on how your sites do in Google search: a weekly summary of clicks and queries, a check on whether a page is indexed, or a sitemap submitted after a release.
Who can connect it
Section titled “Who can connect it”An owner or admin connects Google Search Console once for the whole organization. A member asks one of them. Every workflow and agent then acts as that one Google account and sees the sites it can see in Search Console. See Connecting apps.
Connect Google Search Console
Section titled “Connect Google Search Console”- Open the Apps page.
- Press Connect an app.
- Choose Google Search Console in the Super Connect window.
- Sign in with a Google account that has access to your sites in Search Console, and approve the access it asks for.
- Finish when the window reaches Done.
Google Search Console is its own connection. Connecting it does not connect any other Google app. For a Google Workspace account, the Workspace column shows the account’s domain.
What you get
Section titled “What you get”A Google Search Console connection brings actions: listing sites, summarizing search performance, querying search analytics, inspecting a URL, and listing and submitting sitemaps. It has no events, so it cannot start a run. A Schedule trigger fits most uses: run weekly, fetch the numbers with an Action step, and have an Agent step write the summary. The live list of actions is in the builder’s Action node picker. An agent uses only the actions you grant it. Action steps never offer a destructive action; an agent can be granted one, and it always waits for a member’s approval.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- The connection sees only the sites its Google account can see in Search Console. A site you add to that account later is visible without connecting again.
- See Triggers for schedules and Agent for agent steps.
Reauthorize Google Search Console
Section titled “Reauthorize Google Search Console”When the connection’s health reads failing or needs reauthorization, an owner or admin opens the Apps page, presses … on its row, then Reauthorize, and signs in again with the same Google account. The connection stays the same, so workflows and agent grants need no change. See Reauthorize a connection.
